Single or Double
Is it one or is it two?
Top of Bridalveil Falls
Up to Their Knees in Water
water turns an ordinary stand of trees into aquatic life
Lowering sun casts a rainbow at Yosemite Falls
Dawn of a New Day
My favorite meadow where I go at dawn when the water is still and the mist rises off the pond.
Cascades and Ripples
Lower Bridalveil Falls
Bridalveil Falls up close
softly falling into a pool of mist
Iconic Yosemite Falls
seen from a different perspective
Colors of Spring
Sharp as an Arrow
I am intrigued by the flow as it shoots through the calm water
A Green World
Two weeks ago I sat on a knoll in this meadow, my little slice of heaven
a mysterious passage through the waterway
The morning sun comes over the mountain top and kisses the top of the trees. A lone iris kisses its reflection.
Morning fog shrouds a waterfall near Yosemite's entrance
Sunlight peeks through lighting the tops of the trees
Pot of Gold
A pot of gold lies at the bottom of the falls
The grandeur of Yosemite
View from Glacier Point which I never tire of
What was Once a Sandy Bank
is now a lake, shallow and calmly flowing
This old tree is half submerged in water
Mirror images are everywhere
The Meadow Fills
Melting snow from the high country rapidly fills the meadow. Birds are chirping everywhere.
You can almost touch the tops of these stately pines
Beneath the Surface
Trees along the bank seem to reach into the depths
